Becoming an Egoless Egomaniac

Meditation and Enlightenment ultimately teach you that your ego is a charade and a fake.

It’s true, but if you ever want to get something really ambitious done, you’ll come to learn that your ego is a useful companion to have.

It’s there for a reason. We need to use it.

If you want to do something important and special, then you need to see yourself as important and special.

“I think that there’s a certain delusional quality that all successful people have to have. You have to believe that something different can happen.”

-Will Smith

If you want to create something spectacular and way above the average, then you have to believe that you can.

Because it is solely this self-belief and nothing else that will actually allow you to create truly spectacular things.

Your ego will drive you with a sure handed confidence that will allow you to drop your fears, embrace focus and overcome all the obstacles in your way.

It is vitally important.

And ironically, it is only the truly Enlightened that actually understand this.

They embrace all the powers they have within them, so that they can manifest their desires and create the change that they want to see in the World.

They get real things done, and they stop at nothing until they see them through.

So in essence, to be the most productive human that you can be, you need to become an Egoless Egomaniac.

Incredibly confident in your abilities, but understanding that ultimately, they are not your abilities at all.

They are Life’s, expressing themselves, through you.

  1. hah when you put it that way I feel less guilty about my shameless self promotion efforts (gal needs a job)

    1. harness and embrace what you have and are :p

  2. I agree that having absolutely no restrictions is very liberating and can produce massively dramatic results. it’s our ability to use wisdom to determine not just what is possible to do, but what is beneficial to the most involved – what ‘should’ be done as a subset of that which can be.

    Absolute power corrupts absolutely. 🙂

  3. Ha! And furthermore, anything one tries to do to be free of ego is ego.

  4. Ego less egomaniac = maniac 🙂
Humble child of a Loving All-powerful God = responsible loving Adult with awesome power.

    Hmmmmm…..

    Perspective is truly amazing.

    1. Haha, actually, as dangerous as it is,I believe that being bold and “crazy” get’s you a lot more accomplished than anything else does. If you trust your intentions, and are not worried about getting drunk off the freedom, being a “maniac” allows to really let yourself go, and you attract awesome power.

  5. I enjoy the paradox in what you say.

Oh yes. Very good, simple way to address a sometimes confounding subject.

“You have a right to perform your prescribed duty, but you are not entitled to the fruits of action. Never consider yourself the cause of the results of your activities, and never be attached to not doing your duty” Bhagavad Gita 2.47

You got to have the tools to do your duty! Rock on!

    1. Very interesting words!
